How Ansaldo Logistics Began
Mr. Eugenio Casuga, a driver at Smith Bell, believed the company could restore the truck with several repairs. He then suggested that Mr. Irineo Ansaldo request the vehicle for the new business.
With help from his brother-in-law, Mr. Pedro Suico, they obtained the truck free of charge. They paid ₱1 to complete the transfer of ownership and regstration.
Early Growth and Expansion
As demand increased, the business continued to expand. In the following years, the company acquired heavier-capacity vehicles and earned the truck of multinational companies. Many of these organizations remained loyal clients for years.
Formal Establishment and Expansion
During the same year, the company acquired a property at Km. 13, Panacan. The property now houses its offices, garage, and motor pool for vehicle repairs and rebuilding.
A Continuing Legacy of Service
As the company continues its long history of service, it honors the founders who built the foundation of what has become one of the country’s trucking and hauling businesses.
