Trusted Logistics Solutions, For Over 70 Years​

The seven decades of unrivaled trucking service of Ansaldo Logistics (formerly Ansuico, Inc.) started in 1952, with a burned-down 5-ton Ford previously owned by Smith Bell & Co., Ltd.

Mr. Eugenio Casual, a driver at Smith Bell, thought that the truck could still be salvaged with a few repairs and suggested to Mr. Irineo Ansaldo that he ask for the truck from the company.

Through his brother-in-law, Mr. Pedro Suico, who also worked as a driver in the same company, they were able to get the truck for free and paid 1 peso for the truck to cover the cost of transfer of ownership and registration.

After seven months of repair and restoration, the truck finally hit the road again. A few months later, a 5-ton Chevrolet was added to cater to the trucking needs of rice and corn dealers. As successful as the first venture was, the need to expand was inevitable. Every year thereafter, heavier capacity units were acquired. The trucking business continued to flourish and gained the trust of many multi-national corporations, who became loyal clients through the years.

In 1963, the trucking business was registered under the name ASUICO, INC., an anagram of its founders, Irineo Ansaldo and Pedro Suico, with RED BALL EXPRESS as its trade name. The property in Km. 13 Panacan was also acquired during this year which how houses the offices, garage, and motorpool for repairs and rebuilding.

When the company reached its 50th year in 2013, the name was changed to ANSALDO LOGISTICS, INCORPORATED, but retained the trade name for its trucking and hauling business.

As the company celebrates its 70th year, we look back with gratitude to the founders who laid down the foundation of what it is now, one of the countr’s most reliable trucking and hauling businesses.
